Origin and Innovation
The company was founded in 2000 by two Kansas natives, inspired by an experience during a prairie dog hunt in 1997. A friend forgot his traditional sandbag and improvised with a sock filled with sand.This event led to the development of the Accu-Shot monopod, which was launched in January 2000. This monopod offered a portable and clean solution for back support when shooting, without the hassle of a sandbag.
Product development
In 2010, B&T Industries introduced the Atlas bipod, a rifle front rest with multiple patented features, including adjustable legs at different angles, and the ability to pan and tilt. These bipods have become popular with civilian shooters, law enforcement and military users worldwide.
